Lillian
Moving through depth psychology, media theory, design, and artistic research, Lillian explores how contemporary technologies, may mediate, reflect, and potentially extend psychic life. We attend to the psychic conditions of digital existence not as abstractions, but as materially situated experiences.
Our work engages with emergent understandings of the unconscious, tracing how symbolic, affective, and dream-like phenomena find expression in virtual contexts. We apply therapeutic thinking to systems, design processes, and game mechanics but also to the wider ecology of play, attending to the psychic, emotional, and relational dimensions of interactive experience.
Lillian is an open, interdisciplinary field of inquiry an evolving space that invites critical reflection, speculative experimentation, and the cultivation of new vocabularies for thinking psyche in the digital age.
When everybody’s playing, we’re doing it right.
